EFAPHow the Employee and Family Assistance Program WorksIt does not matter what the problem is or how serious it is, one has to simply call the EFAP at the numbers below. If the problem is not appropriate for the EFAP, the counsellor will discuss this matter with you and advise you as to who can help. When the problem is appropriate – and most of the time it is – the counsellor will make arrangements to meet with you, your significant other(s), or family if necessary, and begin the process of helping you to resolve your concern. Sick time may be used for appointments during the day.
