About Us

The members of CEP468 work as directors, servicing representatives, communications officers, research policy analyst, research analyst, research assistants, equity officer, information services, organizers, political action, finance and support services staff in support of the membership of the HEU. We work throughout the province of B.C., out of the offices of the Hospital Employees' Union in Prince George, Kelowna, Nelson, Burnaby, Victoria, Nanaimo Courtney and Abbotsford.

As a local of the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union we are affiliated with the B.C. Federation of Labour and the Canadian Labour Congress and the members of CEP468 are active in their labour councils, politically and work closely with community groups.

Our members are dedicated to a progressive social vision encompassing the preservation of universal health care, women's rights, public education, equality of access to post secondary education, the elimination of child poverty and the creation of a society that provides equality and justice for all its citizens.
